Sponsor: The Wichita Gem & Mineral Society

The Event:

Featuring dazzling crystals, minerals, fossils and meteorites.

See how rocks are cut and polished.

See how unique jewelry is created using the wonders of nature.

Dealers, Demonstrations and Exhibits
Sphere making, cabbing, beading, arrowhead napping, faceting, wire wrapping, silversmithing, and more.

Also at the Wichita Gem & Mineral Show, we will have our fluorescent room, come and look at the marvels of nature under a black light!

For the kids we have grab bags, a spinning wheel, and a Jr. rockpile. The grab bags include several mineral, fossil and rock specimens. Spin the wheel for a treasure, go into the rock pile and fill a paper bag with all sorts of neat rocks.

And of course while you are there, don't forget to check out the silent auction table, and the "Gem Hunt."

Featured Exhibits
Spectacular minerals and sparkling crystals will be shown along with dinosaur bones and eggs and displays by WGMS members and vendors.

Special Things for Children:
Junior rock pile, gem hunt, gem wheel, grab bags, demonstrations and exhibits.
