Easter Bunny Photo Experience Is Coming Soon To Towne East Square To Delight Families

Date: March 31, 2017 to April 15, 2017,
Venue: Towne East Square - 7700 E. Kellogg, Ste. 1300, Wichita

The Event:

Simon®, a global leader in retail real estate, is hosting its annual Easter celebration festivities at Towne East Square, offering families the chance to participate in traditional and unique seasonal events.

Save time and avoid the line with Bunny by Appointment! Now you can reserve your magical moment with Bunny online at http://simon.noerrbunny.com.

The Bunny Photo Experience begins Friday, March 31 and runs through Saturday, April 15 in the lower level of the Sears’ wing. Kids will have the chance to visit with the Bunny and take home a treasured snapshot of the fun occasion.

The sponsor for the 2017 Bunny Photo Experience is Universal Pictures Home Entertainment which is celebrating the highly-anticipated release of “Sing,” available on Digital HD March 3rd and on Blu-ray DVD March 21st. Come visit the Simon Easter Photo Experience and receive a fun-filled activity sheet, a custom Sing holiday headband, and watch highlights from the movie.

“We love to hold family-friendly events and we always look forward to watching children interact with the Bunny at Easter,” said Sara Schmidtke, Director of Marketing and Business Development at Towne East Square.

Caring Bunny:
Town East Square’s Caring Bunny™ event will offer families that have children with special needs a subdued environment to participate in the Bunny Photo Experience. Caring Bunny, the largest program of its kind, has been developed by Simon and is guided by AbilityPath.org, a national online resource hub and special needs community. Over 90 Simon® properties will host the Caring Bunny this season. Promotional assistance for Caring Bunny has been provided by Autism Speaks.

On Sunday, April 2, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., many steps will be taken to reduce sensory triggers, creating a more comforting environment for children’s cherished visit with the Bunny. The subdued environment is likely to include (specific elements or aesthetics may vary):
• Turning off in-mall music, stopping escalators located near the photo set, dimming the lights and shutting down fountains for the duration of the event.
• Eliminating queue lines through the use of a numbering system whereby guests approach the set when their number is called.
• Special activities geared toward the needs of the child during the ‘wait’ period to help the child understand what activities will occur during the visit.

Easter Celebration:
One week prior to Easter, Towne East Square will host an Easter Celebration on Saturday, April 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. in the lower level of the Sear’s wing. This family friendly event welcomes children and their parents to enjoy arts and crafts, a baby chicks exhibit, face painting and more. All ages welcome.

Pet Photo Night with the Bunny:
For local pet owners, Towne East Square will host Pet Photo Night with the Bunny from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 9. Pet owners who view their pet as an integral part of the family can come to Towne East Square and photographically commemorate the holiday with their dog, cat, iguana or, yes, bunny. Pet Photo Night is hosted after regular mall closing and the Bunny set gets an extensive cleaning following the event to remove any potential risk to allergy sufferers. Attendees should use the northwest entrance between Dillard’s and Sears for direct access.
