The Event:

Join the Kansas African American Museum as it conducts its 39th Annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration on Jan. 13, 2018. 

Don't miss the City wide Martin Luther King, Jr. Program at Saint Mark United Methodist Church at 1525 N. Lorraine. The Wiley College Choir is performing and The Kansas African American Museum will be honor Wichita Police Chief Gordon Ramsay, Wichita State University's Deltha Colvin and Lynn and David Gilkey from Rise Up for Youth. 7:00-9:00 a.m. : Breakfast @ Christian Faith Centre (1130 S Broadway St, Wichita, KS 67211). $3.00

10:00-11:00 a.m. : City Wide Parade from CFC to the Chester Reflection Park (East of Douglass and Broadway). Contact Christian Faith Centre to register float/organization 316 - 682 - 3544. Button required

 11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m. : Community Service Activity at The Kansas African American Museum (601 N. Water 67203)Bring non perishable food items benefiting Church on the Street: A ministry focusing primarily on meeting the mental, physical and spiritual needs our homeless brothers and sisters. 

12:30-1:30 p.m. : Wiley College Scholarship Auditions! Appointment slots ONLY (email Education Director at christyn.breathett@tkaamuseum.org to sign up)Button required

6:00 p.m: City wide M.L.K. Program @ Saint Mark U.M.C. 1525 N. Lorraine, Wichita, Ks. 67214.
