Postmarked Landmarks: Postcards from Two Kansas Landmarks

The Event:

Free Admission On Display through August 31st, 2018 "Postmarked Landmarks: Exploring Two Kansas Landmarks through Postcards" is a new exhibit on display at Fort Hays State University's Forsyth Library. Located on the main floor of the Library, the exhibit featuring postcards from Waconda Spring and the Garden of Eden can be viewed free of admission during Forsyth Library's building hours. Two Kansas landmarks, one extinct and one still standing, are featured in this exhibition of postcards from the Timothy Johnson Postcard Collection to tell interesting stories about the history of this area. The postcards displayed are from the Special Collections at Forsyth Library, which curates and preserves materials related to regional and cultural history. June 25 - August 3 Monday - Friday: 7:30am - 5:00pm August 6 - August 17 Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 4:30pm August 20 - August 31 Monday - Thursday: 7:30am - Midnight Friday: 7:30am - 6pm Saturday: 10am - 5pm Sunday: Noon - Midnight
