See what our young artists in the Coutts Club After School Program have created and join a raffle to take home a lovely centerpiece made by the artists themselves! Live, mystical, and enchanting music provided by the region’s very own harpist, RoJean Loucks. “This is our fourth season hosting this style of fundraiser, and every year we’ve not only accomplished our fundraising goals, but continued to increase participation,” said Raven Dickson, Development Director. “We hope that this event continues as our annual FUNraiser for many years to come. Our event is unique to other fundraisers in the area because we focus on giving our participants, including staff and board, the opportunity to interact, have conversations about our mission, and have fun without worrying about live or silent auctions.” This year we are also excited to announce that we are partnering with the El Dorado YMCA who will be offering their Parents-Night-Out program for only $5 per child for attendees to our Vino & Brew. General Admission is $65 per ticket now, or $75 per ticket at the door. Members receive a discount for their tickets if booked before July 12! For more information, call CMA at 316.321.1212, ask for Raven! All guests must be 21 or older to attend. This event is possible in-part thanks to many generous sponsors: Gravity Works, HollyFrontier, Sundgren Realty, Spencer, Wernli, & Wilson Advisors, Lane Enterprises, Demo Sales Inc., A Brown Retail Liquor, Brewski Barn, Heartland Coca-Cola, Modrn Booth, Graphic Concepts Inc., Walters Flowers, and ICI Insurance. About Coutts Museum of Art The Coutts Museum of Art is a unique regional destination museum and historic gathering place for people to experience the arts through significant and engaging exhibitions, innovative educational efforts and entertaining programs. The museum was established in 1970 by Warren Hall Coutts, II., who was an El Dorado attorney. Coutts died in 1988 at the age of 88. He made known his wishes for the continuation of the museum, including new acquisitions and a vision of expanding in the future. The museum’s artistic focus is to collect, preserve, and exhibit fine art. The museum's collection boasts more than 1,500 pieces of art, including: Makk, Renoir, Thomas Hart Benton, Picasso, Degas, and Frederic Remington. Through rotating exhibits, the Museum offers the general public the opportunity to come and learn about art, and interact with other members of the community. In addition to displaying its permanent collection, local artists are given the opportunity to schedule an exhibition of their works or a group exhibition. This opportunity provides artists the chance to interact with local community members they may not have had the pleasure to meet. The Coutts Museum of Art is a 501(c)3 Not for Profit Museum. Cash donations to the museum are tax-deductible under IRS code.
