Friends of Felines' Project Pet Paint & Sip Fundraiser

Date: September 1, 2018,
Venue: Pinot's Palette - 338 N Mead, Wichita

The Event:

Paint a portrait of your pet at Project Pet. Once you sign up for the painting, email us a high quality digital photo of your pet (one pet per canvas, please) and we will do the rest. Each photo will be transferred onto a 16”X20” canvas. Our talented artists will walk you through the steps to create your very own Pet Portrait!

$10 per seat goes to Friends of Felines KS. Friends of Felines Kansas is a non-profit organization working to reduce the number of ferral/community cats in the Wichita area by using trap-neuter-return. Caregivers who are feeding community cats contact FoFKS who then trap the kitties, have them spayed and neutered and give them a rabies vaccine. The kitties are then returned to their “homes” where they can live their lives without reproducing. In addition to reducing the number of kittens born, many unwelcome behaviors are decreased (roaming, fighting, spraying, yowling), too. The last two years, FoFKS has trapped over 900 cats each year.
