Senior Wednesday: Julie Mettenburg

The Event:

Who will be the stewards of our state's farms and ranches as our farmers grow older and look to the future' In conjunction with the "Kansas Land" exhibition, WAM welcomes Julie Mettenburg who will discuss Kansas land transitions. Mettenburg is a sixth-generation Kansas farmer actively working in her family's generational stewardship transition. She is a professional educator in Holistic Management as part of the Savory Institute global network working to heal the world's grasslands, and former executive director of the Kansas Rural Center. Senior Wednesday offers lifelong learning opportunities for active adults 55+.
