World War I War's End Centennial

Date: November 11, 2018,
Venue: Wichita Art Museum - 1400 W. Museum Blvd., Wichita

The Event:

In art, music, literature, and history, three cultural institutions partner to mark the landmark centennial of the end of military conflict. Dr. John Dreifort, professor of history at Wichita State University, will offer a talk to characterize World War I and its precedent-setting horrors. He will explore the striking cultural aftermath as the world reeled from the most devastating war in modern memory. Free with museum admission. Presented in colllaboration with Wichita Symphony and Wichita-Sedgwick County Historical Museum.
