The Three King's Day Community Celebration

Date: January 5, 2019,
Venue: K-State Research & Extension Office - 7001 W. 21st St. N., Wichita

The Event:

K-State Research & Extension would like to invite all families in the community to celebrate the tradition of the arrival of the Three Wise Men or Epiphany. The Three King Men brought presents to Baby Jesus and brings presents for kids which countries celebrate this tradition. The Three King’s Day (Jan. 6th) is an important holiday in many countries, and it helps close the Christmas season celebration. Join us and discover how some of the Hispanic countries celebrate this day.

At this event, you will find cultural tables of different Hispanic countries, crafts, music and also food for sale- $ 5 plate. Children will receive a treat bag when they come and talk to the Three King Men. Come ready to have fun and by the way, you can take pictures with the Three Wise Men!
