Wichita Alternative Gift Market: 24th annual

Date: November 10, 2018,
Venue: University Congregational Church - 9209 E 29th St N, Wichita
Sponsor: Alternative Gifts International

The Event:

Changing the world, one gift at a time! This market is an alternative to the over-commercialization of the Holidays, a different kind of shopping experience. It features charitable gifts starting at only $1.00, fair-trade crafts and foods, café lunch, and more. Admission is free. Alternative gifts support Wichita families in poverty, stock American food pantries, provide educational resources to kids in low-income countries, get farm supplies to our global neighbors facing hunger, and more. Sponsor tax-deductible gifts in honor of your loved ones and receive complimentary greeting cards describing the projects, plus free ornaments representing the charities! This community-wide market is hosted by dozens of local groups the second Saturday each November; UCC is our host location for 2018. All-ages, family-friendly; childcare and children’s activities available. Act locally, impact globally!
