The Event:

Join us in the Museum’s DeVore auditorium for a program with Dr. Robert E. Weems, Jr. Dr. Weems will explore the impact of the First World War on Wichita, and in particular the African American community. Robert E. Weems, Jr. is the Willard W. Garvey Distinguished Professor of Business History at Wichita State University. This program recognizes the centennial of the end of WWI with the signing of the Armistice on Nov. 11, 1918. This program is free and open to the public. Part of the World War I Centennial with the Wichita Symphony Orchestra and the Wichita Art Museum.
