Valentine's Day Dinner and Cabaret with Karen L Robu

The Event:

The Plymouth Fine Arts Series presents its second offering of the 2019/2020 Season, Valentine’s Dinner & Cabaret, with Karen L Robu, Friday February 14, 2020 beginning at 6:00 pm in Fellowship Hall, Plymouth Church. Karen L Robu, Associate Minister at Plymouth, came to Wichita in 1993 for a six-month contract at the Crown Uptown Dinner Theatre. Twenty-seven years later she’s still entertaining Wichita audiences. A regular at MTWichita, Karen has been seen as Rose in Gypsy and Ursula in The Little Mermaid. She flew through the air as the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz, swung from a chandelier in Nice Work if You Can Get It, and learned a trapeze act for her role as Berthe in Pippin. Whether you come as an individual, with friends, or with your sweetheart, Karen promises a memorable Valentine’s Day as she and other special musical guests share their talents. The ticket price is $50 per person for the dinner and cabaret show and can be purchased at the church office, 202 N Clifton, Wichita, or by calling 316-684-0221. Cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted. Tickets are also available online at Seating is limited. Place reservations by February 12th. Plymouth Congregational Church is located at 202 N Clifton, Wichita in the College Hill neighborhood. It has been a part of the Wichita community for over 130 years. Rev. Dr. Donald P. Olsen is Senior Minister, Rev. Karen Robu is Associate Minister, and Howard Webb is Director of Music. The Plymouth Fine Arts Series seeks to elevate the appreciation of the arts in our community and offers experiences for performer and audience that inspire creativity and lift the spirit.
